Mission Statement

To provide volunteer and financial support for students, staff and families at Ridgeline Academy. To support activities that build a sense of community and enrich the learning environment.

Get involved

From our classrooms to field trips, Student Council to after school clubs, Eagle athletics to our National Junior Honor Society, we rely on our school community to help support these and other extracurricular activities that offer a vibrant, competitive advantage to our students at Ridgeline Academy. The PTO is the primary source for fundraising and all the funds raised through the PTO go directly to support these extra-curricular programs.

There are no dues to take part in the PTO at Ridgeline Academy. Everyone is welcome to become a member and provide input and direction for our board.

PTO meetings

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. at Ridgeline. Children are welcome!

Like any volunteer organization, the PTO is always looking for more people to help. Whether you can come to the meetings, participate on committees, or if you can only volunteer to do extra activities from home, or simply provide monetary or supply donations, your help is needed and greatly appreciated.

Tax Credit Donation

Parents, teachers, staff members, board members, and community members are encouraged to support student activities programs at Ridgeline Academy through the Eagle Tax Credit Donation Campaign. Tax credit donations are collected through December 31 to fund field trips, extra-curricular programs, and athletic programs offered during the school year. The campaign officially begins on Registration Night prior to the start of school. Tax credit donations can be made through the Online Payment System or by check payable to the school.

School Tax Credit FAQ's

What school tax credits are available to individuals?

An individual may claim a credit for making contributions or paying fees to a public school for support of extra curricular activities or character education programs. An individual may also claim a credit for making a donation to a qualified school tuition organization for scholarships to private schools.

Who may claim the individual school tax credits?

The individual school tax credits are available only to individuals. Partnerships and S corporations cannot pass these credits through to their partners or shareholders. These credits are also not available to trusts, estates, regular corporations, or S corporations.

What is the maximum dollar amount of the credit?

The credit is equal to the amount contributed or the amount of fees paid. However, for single taxpayers or heads of household, the credit cannot exceed $200. For married taxpayers that file a joint return, the credit cannot exceed $400. If married taxpayers file separate returns, each spouse may claim 1/2 of the credit that would have been allowed on a joint return.

What form does an individual use to claim these credits?

An individual that makes contributions or pays fees to a public school for support of extra curricular activities or character education programs would use Arizona Form 322 to claim this credit. An individual that makes a contribution to a qualifying school tuition organization would use Arizona Form 323 to claim this credit.
