Time to order August Breakfast & Lunch

It is time to order breakfast and lunch for the month of August. It is important to read Boonli Regration Instructions if you are new to Ridgeline or if you do not recall how to order via Boonli. We recommend that families select menu items for the month of August versus on a weekly basis. It is quite the time saver.

Please feel free to call school (M-Th, 9-2pm) if you have any questions regarding our school lunch program.

Letter from Mr. Barker regarding Thursday, April 26th

April 25, 2018

Dear Ridgeline Academy Families:

Starting tomorrow, thousands of Arizona educators are uniting in an effort to bring attention to education funding in our state. Many of these educators plan on attending rallies at the State Capitol resulting in the closures of more than 100 Arizona schools—an act that is expected to affect more than 840,000 of Arizona’s 1.1 million school age students. Thank you for your patience and understanding as our campus, and educators around the state, make plans surrounding this Red for Ed teacher work stoppage.
Ridgeline Academy will be open during the Arizona teacher work stoppage unless you receive notification from the school otherwise. We will do our best to provide information 24 hours prior to the start of school, but will always provide notification at least 12 hours before the start of school.

We are proud of our dedicated educators as they represent us at the state capitol and find ways to maintain safe operations on our campus. Thursday, Coach Greenwald and several of our educators are planning a field day for our students. Athletic dress is appropriate, but not required. Ridgeline spirit shirts are preferred to show support for our school and our teachers. Athletic shorts are also acceptable for Thursday, April 26th. Our traditional school uniforms are always a suitable clothing choice at Ridgeline Academy.

The Puppet Show that was originally scheduled will also go on as planned.
Our campus is planning to return to normal operation for Friday, April 27th. Friday is a half day, and Ridgeline Spirit attire or school uniforms are appropriate.

We appreciate our dedicated employees who continue to focus on meeting the needs of our students and our community. Thank you for your continued support of Ridgeline Academy, our teachers, and most importantly your students.

Proudly,

Keven Barker

Letter from Mr. Barker (#REDforED)

April 21, 2018

Dear Ridgeline Academy Families:

As you have heard, Arizona educators have been participating in statewide efforts to increase awareness for teacher and staff salaries and the need for additional public education funding.  These efforts have included rallies at the State Capitol, walk-ins like the one we recently held on our campus, as well as public social media campaigns.

Last Thursday night the Arizona Education Association and its teacher members voted to enact a walk out beginning on Thursday, April 26th.  While our Ridgeline educators are not members of the Arizona Education Association professionally, this action has the potential to affect educators and institutions statewide.

Ridgeline Academy supports our educators and educators across the state.  As such, we are working to determine the impact on school operations should our teachers choose to participate in the walk out.  In the event of a work stoppage, we will make every effort to keep our campus open.  If we do not have adequate staff to provide a safe and quality learning environment for our students, we may have to close campus or alter our daily schedule.

We will do everything we can to ensure you are fully informed of any disruptions to our students’ education and certainly let you know of any changes to our normal daily schedule with as much advance notice as possible.

We appreciate our dedicated employees who continue to focus on meeting the needs of our students. Thank you for your continued support of Ridgeline Academy, our teachers, and most importantly your students.

With hope,

Keven Barker

Carwash for Cancer

Thank you to all of our volunteers for the time and effort put into making our Carwash for Cancer a huge success. Between all the baked goods, pizza, drinks and countless hands washing, rinsing and drying cars, we raised $2500 in 4 hours. Thank you to the Tyler Hallsey Foundation for coming out and being part of the event. We great appreciate the support that have brought to our Ridgeline community.
