Cross Country Teams - A Record-Setting Year

This year has been record-setting for the boys and girls cross country teams. Competing in their second season under coaches Denise Thompson and Kevin Greenwald, (who brought home the CAA Coach of the Year award),  the teams have risen to new heights this year, becoming very competitive statewide and home to the 2016 State Champion!

These dedicated teams took home a total of six team trophies throughout the season, including State Championship Runner-Up for the Boys and State Championship 3rd Place for the girls. In addition to competing as teams, each athlete competed individually, and the individual medals were abundant for these amazing runners. Collectively, the athletes took home a total of 18 individual medals, with 5 first place medals going to Noah Fleming.

Ben Egli was our 3rd place finisher at State Championships and Alexis Bork brought home an 8th place medal.

Noah Fleming is the new Division 1 boys State Champion setting a course recordwith a time of 8:23. Noah was also awarded as the CAA Runner of the Year!

Congratulations Ridgeline Eagles on an amazing season!
